Our club coach Adrian Joly is a Level 4 fully accredited LTA coach with a proven track record over many years of producing fine tennis players. He provides group and individual coaching for juniors and adults and runs our junior section, including our very successful mini-tennis programme, endorsed by the LTA.
Adrian has an eye for spotting raw talent and has a wealth of experience in taking players through different levels of competition. One of his players has achieved a “top 50” junior World ranking and played Junior Wimbledon. Other recent successes include two other players achieving “top 50” National rankings, one in the U/14’s and another in the U/16’s.
Whether his player’s goals are competitive or recreational, all players are encouraged to discover the fun in striving to be the best they can be. You can be confident that Adrian will help your young tennis player achieve their full potential in a positive and nurturing environment.
Adrian has also helped several young players to achieve coveted tennis scholarships at St Georges College, Wentworth and Claremont fan school in Esher.
Private tuition can be arranged with Adrian or with one of his fully qualified LTA assistant coaches, James Earl and Chris Tribe. Adults who are non members are very welcome on payment of a £2 guest fee per attendance. For players who are already attending classes, individual sessions are an excellent way of accelerating development and assist players who wish to work on specific areas of their game. The rates below are based on a 55 minute session:
|One to one||£36|
|One to two||£18 each|
|One to four||£10 each|
30 minute sessions @ £18 are sometimes possible. Such sessions are generally offered to young players who are playing competitively and are already attending training at other times.
To assist players to achieve high levels of technical competence, on court video analysis is used regularly to assist his player’s development.
“Adrian has been a brilliant coach. I have enjoyed every minute of his coaching ever since I started with him. I always have a laugh with him whatever the situation, whether I’m not doing something right or just for the sake of it. I always walk out of my lessons thinking I can’t wait to come back. Anyone out there who is looking for a fun and enjoyable coach should come to the club so he can help them. He has done a great deal for me. Whether you just want to play once a week for fun or compete in tournaments I am sure he will make your tennis experience really worthwhile.”

Term-time Mini-Tennis programme for 4-10 year-olds
Our term-time mini tennis programme runs after school and also on Saturdays. To maximise player’s learning speed, children will always be assessed so we can be sure they are placed in a group containing players of a similar age and similar level of experience.
In the school holidays Adrian offers 2 hour mini tennis sessions over 3 consecutive days and also visits various local schools to offer curriculum time taster sessions as part of our outreach programme
For our Red, (U/8) Orange (U/9) and Green (U10) level players who are ready to experience competitive play, we enter around 6 teams in the LTA Aegon summer term mini- tennis leagues. We also enter the LTA Quorn Family cup to give our minis the chance to pair up with one of their parents and play against other like minded families.
Term-time Tennis Programme for 11 – 13 year-olds and 14 – 17 year-olds
To meet the specific requirements of our older players, coaching groups are arranged according to age and level of experience. A variety of sessions take place after school and on Saturday mornings.
On Friday evenings we hold our junior club night and run supervised timed tennis box leagues for our 10 to 15 year olds. There is a small charge of £3 made for this popular event. To encourage the development of junior tennis at Weybridge LTC our junior membership fees are highly competitive.
We also hold internal junior Club Championships for girls and boys. We enter the LTA’s National Road to Wimbledon event and also run 6 teams in the LTA Aegon Team Tennis summer leagues.
We have a long standing record of producing high level players at Weybridge LTC of a high standard. We are therefore pleased to afford emerging players the chance to test themselves in the senior club championship. On occasions they are also likely to find themselves invited to represent the club in our adult teams.

They are open to non members however to avoid disappointment booking these early is strongly recommended. Camps are held at Easter, half-term and during the summer holidays.
